I know Chef Mickey's is super popular but what about if it's a group of adults going, no kids? Is it weird for just adults to go? I mean I always feel a little awkward around characters since we have no kids with us.

So what's the verdict, Chef Mickey's with a group of adults only

yes/no

honesty please :)

We have done CM a few times and it's just DH and I and we always have a good time. Plus we take pictures with the characters too and have a great time!

Yes definitely for adults. It is a great way to get to pictures with the characters and the atmosphere is fun. We were a group of 3 adults and didn't feel funny at all

Do it!! DH and I went last trip, and as long as you can deal with a loud restaurant first thing in the morning, you'll enjoy it. And no, it's not weird either. :)

Yup- go and have fun!!!! In fact I always volunteer to take pictures for the grown ups who go without kids so they can all be in the picture!! (Had an older lady almost cry once over the gesture too  )

We're an adult couple and we love the character meals, including Chef Mickey's. That one is a very boisterous one.

Chef Mickeys is a blast...but its really loud there!! I enjoyed our character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern more. If you haven't been to CM before, then I suggest giving it a try. Its fun!

I've never dona character meal. I'm doing Chef Mickey's when I go later this year, just me and my friend are going. We have a bunch of ADRs that are character meals.
She gets embarrassed with character meet and greets but she gets over it once she sees them.

I'm so excited for this meal! It will be our first time. I think the characters look adorable in thier chef outfits. DH loves Donald so I am excited for him cause I think Donald look's adorable!

My DH and I are like little kids when it comes to the characters,we love them!

We went five times (2x dinner, 3x breakfast) and never once felt weird with the characters. But then again we're a little nuts :) My mom even celebrated her 58th birthday there!

The characters love to interact with adult parties (a little break from all the kids). The last time I did a character meal, we were all adults and had a BLAST!!! The characters were soooo much fun and were so funny and teased us and all! It was great.

My next trip, I'm doing a solo Chef Mickey's meal (before my friends arrive) and I can't wait! (I didn't get to see Mickey on my last trip, so if everything works out right, I'm certain to see him this time.)

I would say a definite no if good food is the primary consideration.

I'd say yes, but I'm not a big fan of Chef Mickeys. More 1900 Park Fare or Cape May for an adults only party. Cape May seemed a little less chaotic, but that could have just been timing.

I'd shove bamboo under my fingernails before I ate at Chef Mickey's. Unless I was bringing along kids who wanted to go. I'd rather eat appetizers at the Wave bar.

That said- if adults WANT to eat there, then they should. It's not a family-only zone.

Chef Mickey's OK for adults, you ask?

Why wouldn't it be? :) Everyone can be a kid at WDW. No one will look twice at you for going there.
