Chef Mickey's character dining returning!

I’m planning an ADR there for December 9 or 10th. How can I be sure I’ll still be charged the $25 price???

If you are going after the characters start, it is the $42 price.

Yes and it says characters launch on the 16th. I just want to make sure before I make my reservation on the 10th that prices don’t go up early!!!

Makes sense as I know they were "discounting" the meal slightly due to a lack of characters, however, I doubt ANYONE who has booked Chef Mickey's would be put out for a few more dollars to see characters. And it sure hasn't prevented Disney from raising prices overnight for other expenses, say park tickets.

Oh, there are plenty of people that would be put out by the price almost doubling after they booked just to see the characters walk through. We have eaten at the non-character Chef Mickey's a few times (mostly recently this week) and have it booked a couple more times in the near future because we 1) love the food 2) love the family style 3) love the walking location to MK. We will not pay $17 each for characters to walk through the restaurant.

I'm glad those who like the modified character meals have another option but am bummed we are losing our new favorite breakfast spot :)

Is there a number I can call to make sure it will remain $25 before the characters start?

Looking forward to the experience we were used to returning

It will likely be a while before the experience you are used to comes back. This will be modified character dining, where the characters are physically distanced from the tables, not coming to them as you are used to.

Didn't realize they had discounted it so much (CRT is only $13 less without characters and costs almost twice as much to begin with), but in all honesty when has WDW gave a wit about the cost of their services to guests? I doubt folks were eating at CM because it was a chance to eat great food for a reasonable price, and finally without those pesky characters.

That's true! But for families like mine, who don't really care as much about the characters, it was a good chance for a decently priced all you can eat! LOL

True, $25 for all you can eat, that would be by far the cheapest that option has been at WDW in at least 10 years or longer.
