Chef Mickey's Breakfast

Food sucks, characters are great and fun atmosphere. You can always eat the fruit, cereal and Mickey waffles...hard to mess those up!

Honestly, CM's was the worst character buffet that we have ever experienced so it will be a very long time before we go back. The restaurant was a loud, chaotic mess the morning we went. The buffet area had food spilled all over the place and it was never cleaned up, there were empty spots on the buffet that were never filled, the food that was there was cooked poorly and at improper temperatures, our server brought us one round and drinks and was never seen again until she brought our check, the characters were super rushed and Mickey outright skipped our table...we only got to see him when our server realized that we were NOT leaving or paying until our kids saw him.

Many people love CM's but we don't see the appeal and know there are much better buffets on property.

Out of all the breakfasts on property, the only one I like less then Chef Mickey's is Cape May Cafe. If you want a good character breakfast in the MK area I recommend Crystal Palace, or if you just want a good Mickey character meal I love Tusker House at AK.

We had a terrible dinner at Chef Mickeys but tried breakfast and loved it! I would not go out of my way to eat there but if I was staying in one of the monorail resorts I would def make a resevation for it

My niece just had breakfast at Chef Mickeys this morning, so I texted her for her opinion. She would give the food a 6 out of 10 but said that the Characters were a 10/10, her girls love it. She also said that the Tusker House Breakfast is AMAZING, (she was shouting at me so it must be good), so I think my wife and I will do Tusker House when we are there in 18 days.

I guess I'm in the minority.. I think the food is good and the character interaction is lots of fun. We love Chef Mickey's!

MrsDuck - funny you said that cause I just talked to 2 friends who were there in May, and asked them about it and they both had RAVE reviews. I seriously think I am overthinking this and need to stick with my gut. I have always wanted to go to Chef Mickey, maybe I should just try it for myself.
