Hi all,

Just booked a breakfast here for 60 days from now, had no trouble for any day or time I wanted. So tell me, how is the breakfast? The new menu looks pretty good.

Can be loud but I enjoy the breakfast and characters :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We love Chef Mickey's Breakfast. It is a must do for us every trip. Our girls love the characters and we love the food. I know some people have said they didn't think the food was all that. But, we have always thought it was pretty good. Have fun!

This is one of our favorite meals, however I have not heard of a new menu there.

I thought I read on allearsnet that there was an updates/new menu as of this month...well if it isnt the menu still looks very good.

We ate dinner there Oct 06 and didnt like it at all...I sure hope breakfast is much better!

I don't care for the food at Chef Mickey's, but my DGD makes sure we visit every trip! It is her absolute favorite. As long as she loves it....we'll keep going.

I did breakfast there once. It was fun. I like the celebration there.

Breakfast here is wonderful.

It is a bit loud, because every, 10 minutes (I think), the characters come out and dance and you twril you napkin in the air.

Lots of kids.

Characters include, Chef Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald.

When I went, it was extremely hard to get a picture with Mickey. It was understandable, although, because there are a lot of people and he has to make his rounds to everyone. But we asked the character escort person about it and he kindly helped us get a family picture with him. It was fast but be got it!

As for the food, there is a huge breakfast buffet. The cheezy hashbrowns are EXCELLENT. there are Mickey Waffels, and eggs, and omlette station, treats and so much more. Your waiter/waitress will continuously come to your table to fill your glass with orange juice. For children there is an option of regular milk and also chocolate milk. And I think they have the best coffee in Disney. It may be the same everywhere in Disney World but I tasted it at a few other breakfast dining there and Chef Mickey's was the best.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! XDD :thumbsup2

Do they not serve Nescafe like everywhere else in WDW?

Like I said I am really not sure if it is different. It just tasted different to me I guess.

I drank some at 1900 Park Faire as well and it just was not as good there as it was at Chef Mickey's!

I may be fooling myself though :upsidedow

We ate there in February. It was good. Very typical breakfast buffet fare, but good. The character interaction was outstanding. We thought it was so cute that when everyone was twirling their napkins we looked up and the cleaning staff was all leaning over the hallway balconies of the CR waving white towels. It was hilarious.

I loved Chef Mickey's Breakfast! I love breakfast food in the first place and it was just wonderful!

They had the peanut butter and jelly pizza on the kid's buffet...totally made my day! The omelets that they had were also good (they were premade in a big patch on the buffet). My DBF liked the sausages and his DM and DNana and I loved Goofy's Veggie lassana (spelling...it's late and I'm very tired). If anybody has the recipe for it, let me know!

You'll enjoy the breakfast! Have a great time!!!

Ahhh...this sounds great! Soooo glad that I got us a reservation for this. We're an adult party of two, will the characters still come over to us for pictures? Or will we have to ask?

I am so glad I made the reservation! DH and I love breakfast foods and dont eat too much of it at home, usually just cereal or toast so when we are at WDW we tend to pig out!

Although most buffets tend to have the same stuff we have found that each one does have something the other doesnt, 1900 Park Faire has the best strawberry soup, Cape May has that great yogurt bar and the best bread pudding, CP has the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagne....cannot wait to check out CM, Boma and the new Tusker House!

We tried it last year, and have been dreaming of those pancakes ever since......mmmmm......vanilla.........

Also, the dancing part was actually a nice suprise. We had never seen this kind of interaction w/ characters before, and our DS4&6 were loving it!

Two thumbs way up:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 , enjoy!

We loved it there (we went for breakfast)! The food (IMO) is typical buffet food, but the atmosphere was great! I cant wait to go back!
