I have a reservation for the CM breakfast buffet in just a little over 2 weeks from now. :cool1: It's not until 11am though. Now obviously they aren't going to kick you out until you're done eating, but does anyone know if the characters only work until the breakfast hours end (11:30)? This is worrying me; I'd hate to get there and not really get to see the characters. If anyone knows/has had an ADR at around the same time, I'd really appreciate the info. :wave2:

They will be there until the last person leaves. No worries! We had a very late dinner one night and practically had the characters all to ourselves. My dd danced with Donald and Chip during the "celebration". Too cute!

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast..it's a tradition for us! I always make a late ressie..usually around 11. We've never had a problem with the characters leaving. They are there until you leave. We were jsut at WDW for a quick trip and went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. It was the same thing there. The restaurant was almost empty save for the table next to us, who had a son about the same age as our youngest DD. We had the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, and Mary Poppins all to ourselves. They actually hung out with us for awhile. It was great!

We are going to CM for the 1st time next month, also for a late breakfast. I think our ADRs are actually for 11:20. My question is, how is the food at this time? Will they still be bringing out new stuff or will we basically get what's left?

Thanks for the replies everyone! frogmommy, you brought up a good point too that I had forgotten about. We called WDW-DINE back and asked about this, and the CM said food is put out continuously until everyone's finished eating. Anyone know if that's true? Or is what's there what we're stuck with ("stuck with" referring to food that might've been cold/incredibly picked over/almost gone/scraping the bottom of the proverbial buffet barrel by that point).

We had an 11:20 adr. Since it was one of the last adr, by the time we were half way through our meal, most of the previous customers were leaving. My 3 ds's got to see the characters numerous times. The food was fresh and they continued to restock. It was such an enjoyable and relaxing character meal.

Have fun at CM. We went for breakfast and it was our fav meal of the trip! Character interaction was great. Wew went early though 7:15 without an ADR and seated right away. We will definately be going back next trip

We had a 10:50 ADR for CM on Christmas morning. Breakfast actually ran later on that day, but I'm afraid I cannot remember how late it went. We were very, very disappointed in the quality of the food and heard quite a few complaints while we were there. During our meal (at least 60 minutes), very few items on the buffets were replenished. Some of the items looked pretty gross, too. We won't be returning to CM any time soon!!

We are trying the CM breakfast on our next trip in December.I want a ressie for around 10:30 or 11 in the morning. Can't wait til June to make my ADR. I have heard great things about this place. Last year we went to the Concourse and glanced over at CM and heard all of the laughter and singing and thought this would be great for breakfast next trip. We will be using the dining plan so I would like a late breakfast that way we don't have can just have a light supper once we return to our resort later that night. Aaaah- late breakfast at CM then hit MK for the day- what else could someone ask for?? Heaven, I am in Heaven!!!!!!!!!!
