Chef Mickeys Breakfast or Dinner

Which would you choose?
We have been to breakfast a few trips ago and the kids are asking to go again. Trying to decide breakfast again or dinner.
We thought the breakfast food when we last went was just ok but the kids LOVED the characters there and the singing, dancing, napkin stuff, etc.
Just wondering how the food at dinner compares.

We prefer dinner. We schedule dinner at Chef Mickey's on the days we visit DHS or DAK as we never stay in these parks all day. This gives us something to do that evening. After dinner we will check out the shops in the Contemporary or even walk over to the Magic Kingdom.

Just to confuse you, we prefer breakfast. We've only eaten dinner there once and were quite disappointed. We won't go back there for dinner. But in general, we no longer do Chef Mickey's because there are so many better places to eat, in our opinion.

We prefer breakfast. We didn't really care for the dinner selections they had. It was all basic stuff that we can get anywhere at home. We're not very picky for breakfast though, so I guess that's why we liked it better. The overall mood at breakfast seemed better - I don't know if it's because it's the beginning of the day when everyone is excited and then come dinner, they're all tired and cranky. But the vibe was definitely more exciting in the morning. Just my opinion. Good luck with your choice.

We really enjoyed our breakfast there. Food was hot and plentiful, can't comment on dinner as we've only done the breakfast.

Another breakfast person here!! The dinner was fine too, but I really enjoy the breakfast.

I'd pick breakfast. We've had breakfast there every visit since 2002, have never had a bad experience, and have always been very pleased with the food. We ate dinner there once in 2005 and thought the food was mediocre, and have never had dinner there since.

We love both but i guess it would really come down to if I was on the dining plan or not. If i was on the plan Id go for dinner if not I would choose eating my mickey waffles with mickey

This is a very overrated character meal:

Poor food quality, messy buffet area, very crowded to the point where it's uncomfortable with other tables especially with character visits, very long trip to the bathroom (on an entirely different level of the hotel) which is a big deal with little ones.

Prefer Chef Mickey for Breakfast. if we do a Mickey character dinner we go to the Land Pavilion.
