Chef Mickey's Breakfast or Dinner?

We are going to the World in January 2010. Last year we went to Chef Mickey's Dinner and the Characters were awsome...but the food was marginal at best. Our daughter wants to go back in January and we are considering the breakfast this time. What are your opinions? Are the same characters (Fab 5) at breakfast? Should we try the breakfast or settle for the dinner knowing the Fab 5 will be there?

The same characters are there for breakfast that are there for dinner. We definitely prefer breakfast at Chef Mickey's. In fact, the only buffets will do for dinner are Cape May Cafe Clambake and Biergarten.

WE love the food for breakfast at CM. WE have a tradition of doing it for our first breakfast every trip.

We also love the breakfast at CM. I prefer breakfasts in general for table service. If I feed them really well in the morning, I feel like they'v had a good start - better than pop tarts anyway. Also, trying to time your whole day, parades, shows, fastpasses,etc, all around a dinner reservation you pretty much have to hit on the spot...that stresses me out. My suggestion is do the breakfast early and you're free to do whatever for the rest of the day.

We were there for dinner last week, and you're right. It wasn't very good...I would go for the breakfast!

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast and make it a habit of going every time. Also, all the characters are there at breakfast as well.

Chef Mickey's breakfast is our family's favorite! It's our first-day tradition before hitting the MK.

We usually do both...

In years past, Goofy would be there for Breakfast and Donald for Dinner, or the otherway around, but all of the other characters were the same.

We have alway done breakfast very good food! I forgot they even had dinner, what kind of buffett do they have for dinner?? I would totally recommend it for Breakfast it's our favorite spot at Disney for breakfast besides CRT
