Hi, guys. I need some opinions, please! :goodvibes

We were planning on doing Chef Mickey's on our next trip. Believe it or not, we've never done this experience before. We were going to do breakfast, but then changed our minds to dinner. However, several people on our last trip said that dinner wasn't so good.

So anyone who's eaten there recently that wants to comment? Which should be do: breakfast or dinner? :thumbsup2

Or should we change to another restaurant all together? If so, which one? We are so indecisive and need to make a decision, so I can make an ADR for it. Thanks in advance! :wizard:

If we are only talking about character meals, then I would suggest CP for the atmosphere or 1900PF for the food.

Chef Mickey's Breakfast is a must do on our WDW list every time we go! I personally think the atmosphere SCREAMS "Disney!" I also think the breakfast is delish. I have never eaten dinner there, and to be honest, I have heard so many mixed reviews that it doesn't interest me, because it is our "breakfast" place anyway.

I LOVE  CP for lunch or dinner. YUM!

Both Dinner and Breakfast are great at Chef Mickey's. I agree, the place does scream Disney. My problem is the children want to do both. They enjoy breakfast and love the ice scream machine making their own desserts after dinner. It is a toss up and I have to tell you, we usually do both.

We've done both, and if I had one to choose, I'd do breakfast. I think the food is a little better at breakfast and it's not quite as chaotic and I thought there was more character time at breakfast.

Breakfast for sure! :Pinkbounc

We've done both and the breakfast is much better than the dinner. The food is much better and we got a lot more character interaction.

The dinner was not that great. Food was not so good, and not a whole lot to pick from. The kids were not thrilled with the selection, and to be honest, neither was I. I ended up filling up on ice cream - that would be the only good thing of the evening. I would pass on the dinner.

I have been to the breakfast several times and would not hesitate to go back. We really enjoy it and its a fun, nice way to start our day. :goofy: :mickeyjum :donald:

I voted for breakfast. Have dined here a couple of times and it was good.

Tried dinner once and never again. :sad2: Food was gross :crazy2: and service was the worst! :furious:

We've only tried breakfast once or twice at CM, but every trip we make to Disney World, it is a must that we go to CM's for dinner. The atmosphere is great, the kids have a really good time, and if I can remember properly, aren't there more characters at dinner?

Anyways, this restaurant is a must and is a great way to kick off your trip, celebrate a birthday, and also end the trip!

I could eat at Chef Mickeys every meal. I just love all the food they have for breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is really fun as well. We will have 4 character meals there on our 11 day trip in Nov.

I called Disney dining and they told me that Chef Mickey's breakfast is booked solid on the two mornings we wanted to go - except for 7:00 AM!!! We'd still like to go, but are buses running that early?? We're staying at POP and using just Disney transportation.

I know there are MK buses that run for breakfasts, but at 6:15 or 6:30 AM?? And will we make that realively on-time?? :confused3

Thanks! :thumbsup2
