Chef Mickey's birthday breakfast? will they do this for me?

I have a PS for breakfast at Chef Mickey's with my family and plan on celebrating my daughters 7th birthday.

I have ordered a personalized t-shirt from the Disney Store to suprise her on her special day. My question is do you think that the characters at Chef Mickey's character breakfast could deliver this to her making it extra special?

I have noted the birthday celebration on the PS, but didnt think to do this extra suprise until later.
What do you all think? I just wonder if it would be awkward if there were other b'day celebrations going on at the same time w/no gifts delivered to them.

I also wanted to do this for my daughter when she turned 2. I asked when we arrived at Chef Mickey's and was told the characters could not do this. She (our waitress) explained that the other children celebrating a birthday would want a gift from the characters as well. One of her favorite characters, Dale, did come to our table when everyone sang Happy Birthday and when the birthday cupcake was delivered. It was a special birthday celebration and we all had a wonderful time. The interaction with all the characters was great. (We told my daughter that Mickey and Mnne sent the gift to her and invited her to come have breakfast with them.) She was thrilled! She told Mickey, "thank you!" when we saw him and of course he played right along... eventhough he didn't know what she was talking about!

That however was 2 years ago and may vary among the wait staff. I don't know if this is policy. It can't hurt to ask.

Its a shame that you are not able to carry out your plans at Chef Mickeys. You can see WDWs point, you don't want other birthday boys/girls upset because their not getting a gift. Perhaps you could think of another time to present the t-shirt, maybe even getting a character to sign it whilst in a park. Its going to be special whenever its given
