I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum or not but just had a questions concerning possibly viewing some fireworks after at dinner at Chef Mickey's.
We have ressies at 7:05 and the Illuminations is going at 9:30 that night. Is it possible to go anywhere to see the fireworks after eating. We don't have PH passes so we can't get into Epcot. Is there a resort we could go to to see them or better off can we see them from the Contempary?? This is our first trip and I have no clue about the layout of the whole place.
Thanks for any suggestions!

You won't see Illuminations at EPCOT from the Contemporary. EPCOT is approximately four miles from the CR. Is Wishes at the Magic Kingdom scheduled for that night? If so, you can watch from the observation deck at the CR at the north end of the 4th floor (same floor as Chef Mickey's).

You won't be able to see Illuminations, however as it was already mentioned you should be able to watch Wishes on the 4th floor observation deck and it's on the other of where Chef Mickey's is.

If it is Illuminations you want to see - make your way over to the Boardwalk/Beach Club area. You will be able to see the fireworks well from that area - but not that "ground" part of the show (the globe, lasers, etc)

Thanks for all your help! It looks like Wishes is going on that night at MK but they start at 8:00...our ressies are at 7:05 so maybe we can catch part of the show on the CR deck as someone mentioned??
I do appreciate all of your help.
