We are already doing Crystal Palace and Garden Grill. We want two more fun meals w/our 6 yo DS. I am thinking Ohana and Chef Mickeys. The two days we will be in MGM and AK. Which is easier to get to from which? Or do you have better ideas for fun family dining near or in MGM and AK?

Thanks!!!

If you are looking for character dining my sis and her kids liked the breakfast o rauntasouras (I am SURE I spelled that wrong) at Animal Kingdom because it was a buffet character breakfast. I loved Chef Mickey's Breakfast but was so-so when we did dinner there...... Unfortunately both Ohana and Chef Mickeys are farther from MGM and AK and it doesn't matter which one you do which day, those two rest. are really close to each other.

Ohana's breakfast was fun...my dd was 3 at the time and they did a parade with instruments and she met characters.....
Hope this helps some

Do you think that I can get to O'hana's from AK by 5:40 if I leave after the 4:00 parade?

I would certainly think so, as long as your bus didn't break down.:) All you need
to do anyway, is catch the resort bus to the Polynesian. Most bus trips don't take more thank thirty minutes between the parks and the hotels, after you get on the bus. Have fun!

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to keep my ressies and be happy about them :cheer2:

We had a really fun meal at 50's prime time cafe in MGM last summer. It is set up like you are dining in a 1950's kitchen complete with several tables of diners and tvs in the corners with vintage tv rolling. The best entertainment in the whole place is the servers. They play the part of your big brother/sister, cousin, etc. Our server absolutely made our meal there. They mostly poke fun at the adults which our DDs (7 & 10 at the time) just loved.

Disney told me to allow an hour to travel between resorts. You should be able to get to 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's in less than that from AK or MGM. We've got ADRs at both places for dinner on our upcoming trip, and although we've never eaten at 'Ohana before, we liked Chef Mickey's and are looking forward to going again.

Thanks for the ideas. I just talked to DH and we decided to skip Ohana this time and we'll go to Chef Mickeys after AK closes and then go to 50's prime time on our MGM day. You guys are the best!
