Chef Mickey's-11:55 AM?

Since I booked our trip less than 180 days in advance, I was unable to book the ADR's right away. Chef Mickey's was booked but I have been faithfully checking and something finally opened up. To my understanding Chef Mickey's is only Breakfast & Dinner. Breakfast ends at 11:30. My ADR is for 11:55???? Does this make sense to anyone else? Am I missing something?

During busy times like FD, they open up Chef Mickey's for lunch.

Any idea if that means it will be a character lunch or what the menu generally is? I was really looking forward to the breakfast.

From years past 2nd-hand info...

The menu is typically reminiscent of dinner and not like a breakfast at all. I don't know the exact details and I'd hesitate to say it's the same as dinner, but more akin to the other character meal lunches I'd presume.

The characters will be there if the restaurant is open. Even if the website says only breakfast and dinner have characters (during a time they open lunch) and the phone CMs say the same (they're reading off the website basically), they will have characters for lunch.

If CM is a must-do for you, but you'd prefer breakfast, I'd hold onto the reservation you have now and simply keep trying for an earlier one. With our 45 day mark coming up in about a month (you're going about the same time I am according to your ticker), there's bound to be a few cancellations.

During free dining, they typically open for lunch. They did when we went 2 years ago. I didn't go for lunch, but remember the threads about it. It's similar to dinner from what I remember and definitely has characters.
