Chef Mickey

I called last week. I was dissapointed CHEF MICKEY,at CONTemporary all sold out, the second week of Novebmer
IS this one of the most popular Character meals?
Do you need to book at 75-90 days out to get a chance at this character breakfast??

I have seen lots of posts of people unable to get Chef Mickey's. I do believe it is one of those "must eat at" places. We eat there every trip. I called at 7:00 am 90 days out for our PS and was lucky enough to get the time I wanted. Keep calling because people do cancel. I actually got a PS for dinner there during 4th of July week last year by calling the morning of the day I wanted. Good Luck.

They also allow for a certain amount of walkins. I would go on the early side (approx. 5pm) between walkins and now shows, I think you will get seated quickly.

Sorry, we did dinner the last 2 times, guess that was on the brain

I would call dining ressies and double check. I would think something like 7:45 (before all the 8:00am) check in would be ideal.

P.S. We were disappointed with our last experience there. There is a section in the back righ corner (from the check-in) that is up a few stairs, the interaction was not good and there was no napkin twirling. If you are seated there, I would ask for another table.

I called about 2 weeks ago, and tried for an early entry day at MK...we will get to parks about 7:30, ride for 3 1/2 hours, and do "brunch" at Chef Mickeys at 11:15 (last breakfast seating)...I was able to get the date I wanted with no problem .. it's November 13th...

We just walked in last year. No problem at all. I had heard that they do allow for a few walk in.

I may be in the minority, but I did not think that Chef Mickey's was much better than some of the other character meals. I think that I had expected more and was a little disappointed.

DD still had a good time.

On our trip in Jan. we were also unable to get Chef Mickey Ps. So we decided to take a chance and go there at opening at 5:00 p.m. We arrived a little early , and asked if they had any cancellations for the dinner. They did not but they did tell us that they save a couple of tables without PS and we were able to be seated right away. It was a great meal and we had a lot of fun. So take a shot and get there before they open and you may be lucky.

WOW, it sounds like I got lucky. My DU agent managed to get me a PS at Chef Mickey's at 9am on Christmas Day. It'll be my first time eating there and I can't think of a more fun day to go.

It's going to be total mayhem I'm sure but that will add to the fun. And no, there are no kids in my party, it's a mother and daughter trip (I'm the daughter ).

Just keep calling. As people get closer to their trips and deciding on what to do on which day they start to call and cancell.

I just got Chef Mickey's today for Oct 30th (only 23 days away). I got the 11:15am time. Which is what I wanted. It's EE at MK that day. It will be perfect to hit the park early then hop on the monorail and go for a late breakfast. I'm sure someone had just cancelled!!!!
