chef mickey?

I would go for the Character breakfast buffet as the location means you can go straight to Magic Kingdom for park opening afterwards.
May sound like a strange recommendation as we have never been

Our son doesn't like dining out but hoping to try this on our next trip.

Not tried breakfast but the dinner was excellent last month.

Good selection on the buffet and the dessert buffet is heaven for sweet lovers.

We are going for dinner on my sons birthday, couldn't get breakfast that day:( Never been before, looking forward to it.

Buy a small gift to give to Mickey to give to your son. We did this for our son's 7th birthday and to this day he thinks that Mickey knew it was his birthday. We bought a Mickey Mouse watch and it is one of his most treasured possessions.

I would book the breakfast so that the magic continues for the whole day. We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's
and then dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table - what a day!!

We did breakfast this time last year. Best meal ever, will be doing again.

We got the latest time for breakfast, following an early entry into Magic Kingdom, so we were ready for it, it wasn't too busy, but the food was still fresh, with lots of choices (too many really!!). Then back to the hotel for a swim and rest. Perfect............

I'm glad to see the positive feedback on the breakfast at CM. I've booked a 9.20am reservation for us, never been before so it's nice to hear people have enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to jumping on the monorail, right into the hotel for breakfast, then back out to either MK or Epcot for the rest of the morning! :)

We've been to Chef Mickey's for dinner 3 times and the kids loved it. We intend to try the breakfast when we go in Feb :)

we have done both and loved both, but preffered breakfast, will do it again next year ob free ddp...:cool1:

We have only ever done the breakfast and it was fantastic. Loads of choice in food and sets you up for a good day in the park

We've done breakfast 3 times :cool1: , and my DD's love it  , waving those napkins around   Oh and the choice is great :)

May I ask what all this is about, or should I leave myself the suprise? :rotfl2:

I fancied doing the breakfast but have 2 queries:

I notice that part of the Contemporary is being refurbished at the moment - does this impact on Chef Mickeys?

Also we'll be staying off site so when we go can we park at the Contemporary, then go straight on to the MK after without moving the car, or should we park at the main car park & take the monorail from there (how long should I allow for that?)

We parked at the main car park and then took the monorail to the contemporary. Was nice to just then get back on the monorail to the magic kingdom when finished

Luckily enough there was no-one taking money that early either so we got free parking for the day too :thumbsup2

How early was that then? Did it take you long to park & wait for the monorail etc?

Going back again next month , under DS's orders

I'd be interested to know the answer to this too. We've got an 08:05 ADR at Chef Mickeys when we go. What sort of time should we be parking in the main car park?

You have to be careful as the main monorail doesn't start very early. The resort monorail starts earlier but is normally very busy. It is easier to park at the hotel but you can only leave you car there for 3 hours unless you valet park!

We have been for both breakfast and Dinner, both are equally good! With breakfast we normally have the last sitting about 11am so it is really brunch. We go to MK early then walk to Chef Mickey's!

we had this problem too as we had a 8.00 adr for crt, the staff are helpful, the monerail does get you there so dont worry- but the boats dont run that early. They are aware that people need to get into the parks...

we also did an early ADR for cm s for bfast, and valet parked and left the car- much less hassle for us despite the extra dollars (our son has autism, an it was alot easier for him)
