Hello! We are going to be visiting Disney in September to celebrate DS 1st birthday. :bday: Our plans are to eat at Chef Mickey as we did for his brother's 1st birthday. We did the breakfast for his brother. Would you suggest we try lunch or dinner instead?

I am just curious as to how the quality of the food is, as well as the crowd factor. Do they sing and have as much activity as the breakfast?

Any additional suggestions will be welcome as well.

Thanks so much!

The same activity and characters are there for dinner as breakfast, except that Pluto is there for breakfast and not dinner, but Donald Duck is there for dinner.

When both of my DS's turned 1, we ate dinner at Chef Mickey's. They brought out a decorated Mickey cupcake with a candle and we sang to them. This was back in 1997 and 1999. We did tell the host it was their birthdays. I am sure they still do something special if you ask.

Have a wonderful time and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your DS. :yay:

Chef Mickey is totally wonderful at dinner--we actually like it better then than at breakfast. Yes, there is all the activity, and you will get the cupcake. The food is good.

Thank you all so much for responding. I think we are going to try dinner this time. DS will probably like Donald Duck, since he has "met" him before. We are so excited to be able to spend his 1st birthday at Disney, and an added bonus is that his grandfather will be able to join us this time.

Have a magical day!
