Chef Mickey/Wishes and Parking question?

We wil be havng dinner at Chef Mickey's around 5 and going to MK for spectro and wishes. Can we leave our van parked at Contemporary during this time or do we need to move it to MK? How long does it take to walk to Contemporary from MK. I know there will be a big exit after Wishes and trying to figure out the easiest way for us to go back to Contemporary walk or monorail? Thanks in advance

There's supposed to be a 3 hour limit on parking at a resort for dining.

If you park at say, 4:30pm and walk to dinner (long way up to Chef Mickey's and you want to be 15 min early for ADR, at least)... and Wishes (if its at 9pm) is over approx. 9:15pm, plus the walk back to Contemp... that would be nearly FIVE hours... and might be "pushing the limit."
You could certainly ASK the guard at the Contemp. gate when you arrive.

The other choice is to pay Valet parking (just changed, but I think its $10, plus tip) at Contemp. and you'd be fine.

The walk between MK and Contemp. is approx 8 to 10 min. depending on your pace.

After Wishes, it will likely be faster to walk than wait for the resort monorail.
