We just got back from a trip to WDW. Im going to keep this short.

We ate at Chef Mickeys even though some reviews have been , well for a better word NASTY. Our fam ate and we all LOVED IT! Food was really good. We even cancelled our CP table service in MK for a chance to go back. Kids begged us to go back there to eat. We thought the food was wonderful, the shrimp cocktail was good, the potato dish was good, and all in all a great time. I would and will be going back!

Good to hear. We have done CM every year since 2006- and its my hubby and kids fav. I could do with or without it. The last time we went in April, it wasn't great- but not horrible. But I got out-voted, and we booked it for March. It isn't terrific, but I have never had a BAD experience there. On the dining plan (especially free dining), its way worth it- but dont know if it (of the TS) are worth the price if you have to pay OOP.

What were some of the menu offerings at dinner? We have always done breakfast and enjoy it very much, but we have thought about dinner for this trip. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

Glad to hear the positive review. I also have never had a problem with Chef Mickey's. I really like it there!

Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite places to eat for breakfast! I've never had a problem with going there. I've never been there for dinner before, but do plan to go there on my next trip and try dinner out.

Thanks for your review! :)

I love it there and everytime I come on here and read how someone cant stand the horrible food, I dont understand that.... I have been there 2x in the last 3 yrs and havent ever had anything bad but I enter CM knowing its a Character meal with kid friendly food..... I take my family there every trip on our first night, it sets the mood for the whole trip!!!

If I can remember, pizza and nuggets/fries for kids, cant remember what meat was offered for adults but I do remember mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls basically backyard bbq meets sunday dinner

I am NOT a fan of dinner there, but breakfast is pretty good. My girls love the breakfast there so much (it's their absolute fav. restaurant on property) that I decided to book a dinner for our first night there in addition to breakfast on our last trip. I saw a huge difference between breakfast and dinner. Your post just proves one thing, though...we each have our own tastes and don't let the reviews steer you away from a place if you're wanting to try it. I am glad you had such a great experience!
