Chef Mickey or Kona for breakfast?

I can't decide. We already have Chef Mickey for dinner during our trip but I thought it would be nice to try a breakfast there. But I have also heard sooo many good things about Kona Cafe for breakfast. We are on the dining plan and I only want to do one ts for breakfast on our trip because DH is not a big breakfast eater. What do you think?

Kona has really good food, & as the above poster said it is quiet. Chef Mickeys is lively with Characters. So it depends on what you want, characters or quiet. If you are going to the MK, the Crystal Palace has an excellent breakfast buffet too. The characters there are Winnie the Pooh & friends.

I agree...Kona gets my vote! Pressed coffee is the best cup you will get on property.

Well I think I'm going with Kona. Does anyone know if you can get the pressed pot coffe with the dining plan. I'm sure we'll get it regardless but I just wondered. Thanks for the suggestions! 40 days and counting....

Whether or not you can get it on the DDP is really up for grabs. Ask, but don't expect it. I have heard people who were told they could not get it, and people who could get it as a substitute for two drinks, or four drinks. My own experience in July 06, we could get a press pot as a single drink (there were four of us, we could have gotten four press pots). It depends a lot on the server. So like I said, ask (very nicely with a smile), but don't expect it.

And between Kona and Chef Mickey's, I would pick Kona. I've never been to Chef Mickey's, but I would never, ever turn down the opportunity for Tonga Toast!

That is a good suggestion but we are also doing Kona for dinner. We've never eaten at Kona so I am excited to eat there for both breakfast and dinner this trip.
