Chef Mickey on checkout day

Our TA booked Chef Mickey's for 9:30 on the day we check out and head home! Our flight does not leave until 7:55 P.M. So we are going to head to one of the parks so my question is do I need to change the time so we can get our luggage and checked out first and then go to eat or will we have time to do all that first or should we cancel or what would be a best use of our time!

Any advice would be great!

We ate at Chef Mickey's at 9:30 on our check-out day on our recent trip. I did most of our packing the night before, but we had plenty of time to finish packing, call bell services to take our bags to the luggage room, check out, and make it to CM's by 9:30. We took the resort bus to the Magic Kingdom and walked over to the Contemporary.

ME picked us up at 1pm, so we did not go into a park. We went back to our resort and hung out by the pool/playground. (Next time I'll keep the suits in the carry-ons. We would have had enough time to swim.)

I thought it was a great way to end our trip. I think a resort-based breakfast on check-out day will be our new "tradition."

If it were me I would change the time and go to a lunch time.

I hate hurrying the morning of departure.

So I would reschedule and take my time.

You should be all right especially if you are staying at CR. You can check out pretty early and still make it in enough time to make your 9:30 ADR. You didn't say where you were staying.

I don't know what it's called but when we checked out we didn't even have to literally check out since we had our credit card on file. They just left some paperwork at our door and we were on our way. But we didn't use ME.

Either way we did CM's on departure day and it's now a new tradition.

We are staying at Pop, so that means we will need to be heading to Chef Muckey's around 8:30, right?
