Hi all! We're not going to a park on our departure day, and I thought it would be fun to do a leisurely character breakfast right before we leave. I've booked Chef mickey's for the latest seating i could find (11:20 am), but now I'm having second thoughts. Will the characters still be coming around at that time? Will the buffet be replenished? Please share your experiences, if you've eaten here at around 11 am or afterwards. Thanks!

I haven't had that late of an ADR at CM but my girlfriend and I try to get that late of an ADR for 1900 PF. In our experience, the food comes out fresh up until everyone leaves. We were one of the last 5 or so tables last time and everyone was basically done eating, just enjoy the antics of the Madhatter and Alice and they were still bringing out food.

As for the characters, they will come out until at least everyone has had a chance to see them. There have been occasions where you may get to see some of them more than once.

We usually have a pastry and juice or something like that before leaving the resort just to hold us over. We get to the MK for RD. We usually get a lot done and have a few FP for after "brunch" by the time we head out to our ADR.

Late breakfast ADR's are our favorite way of touring MK. :thumbsup2

Im doing the same thing on departing our vaction I say this I had a late CM brakfest it was awesome the food was fresh and hot.. I think that is a awesom way to depart disney world and get some great so photos with the family I could not think of a better way to end your vaction.

We had a 10:50am ADR this past summer - and all the food was still coming out, and all the characters were still circulating :thumbsup2

We had a late breakfast, 10:30 and we were there for about and hour. The place was packed, the food was hot and fresh and plenty of it, the characters were out and making their rounds the entire time.

We just did an 11:20 reservation last week and have 3 times before that. It is the best time to go to Chef Mickey's I think. The restaurant is pretty much winding down except for the room you are in. The characters come through at least once. In my experience we have seen them twice as they keep on coming until everyone leaves. The food has always been hot and delicious and not at all picked over. We love Chef Mickey's for brunch. MMMM...Mickey waffles.

The last time I ate at Chef Mickey's, I purposely booked the latest ADR for breakfast. I'm not a big breakfast eater so I'm usually eating mine right around the time DD is ready for lunch. Doing it this way worked out great for both of us, and I'd do it again. The characters got around to our table twice and the buffet was absolutely full and fresh.

Does anyone know what time they put out the Mickey Mouse Domes? Are they only for lunch/dinner? They're my son's favorites!

Great! I'm so glad it's a thumbs-up :thumbsup2 and not a scary experience :scared1: at that time. Thanks to all for sharing your experiences. I'll stick with my 11:20 am ADR.
