Chef Mickey - how do I get there and how much time(m)

We have ps there for 5:15 one evening. Which park is the easiest to get there from? How do we get there? I'm assuming monorail. How much time should we alott to get there from the parks? We are staying offsite so we will be a park - just not sure which one until you all tell us which one to go to!!!!!

Magic Kingdom is the closest park. You can get the monorail from the park to the Contemporary hotel. The restaurant is on the 4th floor. I would allow at least 30 minutes time. By the time you exit the park and walk to the monorail platform and wait for your monorail. It is a short ride but this will give you enough time to check in at the front podium. Have fun!

Or you can walk from the MK to the CR.

The only two parks to go that day would be MK or Epcot but I recommend MK. If you get on the resort monorail, it is the first stop so it only takes 10min. Allow 30min like an above poster said but that should be plenty of time. I recommend the monorail over walking because it is a nice relaxing break and it drops you right off at Chef Mickey's. Literally walk down the ramp and you are there!!
