Hi Everyone!!

We're trying to think of somewhere to have our Rehearsal Dinner, and we thought that Chef Mickey's would be fun. (although I've never eaten there, it looks really cool from the monorail) Has anyone had it there, and if not any recommedations??

Thanks s :earsboy: o much!

We had ours at Cape May, it was a seafood buffet and very good.

I LOVE Chef Mickey's! It has all the classic characters and an all American buffet! I would recommend it!

Chef Mickey's is fun, HOWEVER, there can be ALOT of kids running around there and alot of parents that don't seem to care.

The last two times I ate there, we had our time ruined by parents letting there children run free. We actually had Minnie Mouse hiding behind our table to get away from a group of kids that were mobbing her. The whole time the parents were laughing and taking pictures not realizing that their children were out of line.
THe next time we went we had kids literally leaning on our table trying to butt in to see the characters, again the parents seemed oblivious to the rudeness of all this.

I am not saying that it is a bad place to go, just be aware that there can be alot of kids there and for some reason, some parents feel that character meals are a free-for-all.

Greeat food and Great restaurant!! But, keep in mind what phlufster said. Lots of kids!!!! If you are looking to have a fun, totally laid back, etc.... dinner, then that would be cool. Otherwise, you may want to find something else. People tend to get annoyed by all the kids.

i have only gone to chef mickeys once. i didnt care for it.

we are having our RD at 50's prime time cafe. it's avery fun resturant and the food is really good.

Again I agree it's a fun restaurant but I personally don't rate the food there and feel that the food at other WDW buffets are better but you do get the characters at Chef Mickeys so if that's what you want and you don't mind the noise levels then great, but I would say not to expect to give speeches there or anything that night because no-one will be able to hear.
