I have ADRs for both of these, but will probably only keep one. This is my second trip, on our first trip we did both of these for breakfast. I was more impressed with the character interaction at tusker house and am thinking of keeping this one but a friend told me dinner at chef mickeys is the best. Just want to get other opinions.

Thanks

I have never been to Tusker house but I would go with that one only because every time I went to Chef Mickeys I have not been impressed. The only thing we enjoyed there was the characters the food I did not enjoy at all..

We like Chef Mickey's for both breakfast and dinner. Overall, I think WDW food is over-rated. For us, there is some magic in riding the monorail from MK to Chef Mickey's.

I bet the character interaction level depends on who is in the suit. Obviously, the interaction at a princess dining is superior than either of your choices.

If I were you, I would base my decision on your park itinerary.

DEFINIETLY appreciating the advice.

The chef Mickey day is a magic kingdom day so would be easy to hop on monorail. If I don't do chef Mickey was thinking of trying for a BOG fastpass lunch. The tusker house is animal kingdom day. If I give this one up then thinking of eating at flame tree BBQ.

Also booking this for boys ages 8 and 9.

We have done both and IMHO I would rather do Tusker House. Chef Mickeys seems to be a free for all with the kids running around chasing the characters, Tusker House is much more tamed, and the food seems to be much better, and the restaurant is larger so your bumping into less people

Dinner at Chef Mickey def. and depending on the time you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom
