Chef de France?

I think that is the name the of the place they recommended to my parents since they couldn't get into Le Cellier. DIsney Dining said it is a great steak place. How does it compare to Le Cellier? Thanks!

How does Les Chefs compare to Le Cellier...well, have to say it does not compare any better than apples & oranges. We thoroughly enjoyed both places (more than once) but they are not at all the same kind of restaurant. Not at all.

Le Cellier is basically a steak house...really good steaks & mushroom filet, a few other choices on the menu.

Les Chefs is basically a French cafe...good basic French food. Not actually known for their steak at all - I don't recall ever seeing a review of Les Chefs for steak...not to say it hasn't happened, but it's just not the "norm" (I think they have a steak on the menu, but it seems like most people go there for the French Onion Soup, superb cheese macaroni dish, duck, salmon, etc.)

Thanks! I knew it was somewhere we had never really considered eating at before. I am going to send the reviews to dad. They are going down as get away and really wanted Le Cellier. We ate their in Feb and they loved it. I may try calling between now and Oct and see if I can get them in.

I must ditto Catne's comment on the apples to oranges comparison and the onion soup. The onion soup is one of the best I've ever had! If you're looking for beef, they have short ribs. The short ribs are great! They're served with fettuccini served in the beef's juices.

If you're looking for beef out side of the normal steak presentation it's great here. they have other menu items too, but it seems like you were interested in the beef side of things
