What's good at Chef de France? We will be eating there for our first time in November.

Went there last year and I LOVED the Tarte a la Flame Alsacienne appetizer. I could have eaten that alone, it was quite large and delicious. Actually my kids did not like what they ordered and ended up eating my roasted chicken entree so I pretty much did eat just that! My hubby raves about the lamb shank with navy beans. His mouth waters just thinking about it! Overall, we (the adults) loved this restaurant. The kids were not at all impressed and couldn't wait to leave. That's why we are skipping it this year and my husband is a little upset :)
P.S. my 15 year old daughter had the grilled tenderloin (looked good-didn't try it), 11 yo son had grilled salmon (I hate fish, looked gross to me. He loves salmon but hated this one!), 10 yo son had macaroni & cheese (tried it-it was good, but he didn't like it) Atmosphere is a little crowded but we still enjoyed it.

The French Onion Soup is excellent ... as is the goat cheese tart (like a pizza). It's very large.

This is one of our favs. I just went a few weeks ago and had the tenderloin. Very good. The french onion soup is good and I love the creme brulee (probably wrong spelling). We always try to go on every vacation.

ENJOY!!

Had lunch there at the end of August ... the short ribs & pasta dish was one of the best things we had all week!

And the french onion soup is terrific!

the roasted chicken is my favorite entree.

Their creme brulee is delish & the cheese platter was so very yummy! I LOVE CHEESE!!!

The onion soup and lobster bisque are great! Salmon was OK and beef tenderloin was very good!

French Onion soup - I don't like onions and I love this soup. So cheesy
Cheese plate
Mac-n-cheese - it's a good mixture of rich chessy goodness. Usually I share this with someone else b/c it's extremely filling
Steak - yummy and was cooked perfectly last time.

On our trip two weeks ago my wife and older son had the Scallops and Shrimp, I had the Lamb Shank (luckily it now comes with ratatouille and not navy beans) and my younger son had the Duck. We all loved our meals.

For dessert it was 3 Creme Brulee (fabulous) and my wife had the fruit salad (she just doesn't know how to enjoy a decadent dessert).

The French onion soup is quite good, but not what you would get at a fine French restaurant. I've also heard the mac n' cheese is excellent. :)

Like the pp, the Tarte Alsace and the Onion soup are terrific. If you are going for lunch, the quiche lorraine is also excellent. And the Cassis and Vermouth cocktail is a wonder tasty beverage.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm looking forward to eating there!

Next time I go I plan on ordering 3 or 4 orders of the Escargot for my entire meal. This is my favorite singal food item I have had at WDW. I still think about them from out last time eating there ( 5 years ago, prekids ).
