We did lunch there in 2005 and we really liked it. The one to-
die-for thing we had was the bacon, onion, and creme fraiche tart. WOW, was it good! I had fish of some kind in a lemon butter and caper sauce with tomatoes (quite good) and a strawberry sort of napoleon for dessert (pretty, pretty good!). SO ordered the aforementioned French menu, with the French onion soup (raved about it), the croque monsieur (raved about that one, too), the salad (you know, just a decent, non-spectacular salad), and creme brulee (liked it). But then SO got a second dessert (a chocolate napoleon) as a result of it being his birthday, and got sung to by the French waiters. Was he happy? Oh, no!

We're going to be eating there again when we go down next May, and are very much looking forward to it.
Oh, and I forgot, SO also got the Kir Royale ("the national drink of France", according to our waiter), which is a blend of champagne and black currant juice served in a champagne flute. SO thought it was so-so and didn't finish it. I thought the same. But we're not wine drinkers, so YMMV. HTH!
