Chef de France - Illuminations view???

In reading some posts about R&C menu change, I read that you can possibly get a good seat at Chef de France for Illuminations viewing. We always book a 8pm ish table at R&C for the possibility of seeing Illuminations. Even if you don't get an outside table, you can go outside and watch. It is breathtaking. Anyone else know another place to see Illuminations while dining??

I've been to Chef's numerous times and although there is seating along the windows, I can't imagine that between the crowd and the fact the restaurant is downhill, you wouldn't see more than the top of the fireworks.

You can see a glow of fireworks but not the show...too many trees and people in the way....R&C is the only sit down restaurant on the shore where you can see illuminations
