I don't have Facebook so I don't know all the details but this still sounds like a yummy deal to me! Tomorrow is National Cheesecake Day and tomorrow cheesecake is half off! you have to eat it there, but still! yum!! I'm sure this will make them busier than usual though. The one near us is always insane. I would love a piece of that red velvet........

Cheesecake Factory has an amazing marketing team, because this really isn't that great of a deal. They do this every year in the dead of summer and people line up like lemmings for it. live down the street and there was a line around the block for this deal with waits for a table at around 90 minutes. A piece of CK is around $8 so they are giving you $4 off your order BUT they assume that most people will come in for a meal, so at the end of the day it is net win because everyone is filling there tables for a mere $4 coupon special. If you go with a family of four you are going to easily spend $60 for lunch.

I can confirm that! We actually spent $57 today for two of us to have a late lunch (with tip). The portions are so huge we brought our cakes home for a snack tonight. At 4:00, we didn't have any wait at all. There was a wait by the time we left, but not much longer than a typical Saturday night.

We went at 4pm as well. No wait. But when we left there was a huge wait, but it is Saturday night.

I LOVE the cheese cake Factory! Too bad it's nearly an hour drive and the wait is always loooong even when it's not half off... so, I don't think were going to make it....

They first had National Cheesecake day like 2-3 years ago,the first year they had it cheesecakes were like $1.25,the price they charged when the restaurant first opened, the restaurant was a madhouse with servers having to take your dessert order before you ordered your meal since there were so many being ordered it would take that long. The next year they switched to 1/2 off cheesecakes and the place was only slightly busier than normal.

Got my cheesecake today, some kind of Hershey's chocolate type....... yum. :thumbsup2
