Cheeseburger in Paradise (inspired by Red Robin thread)

Ate at one in Hawaii in feb. Sadly disappointed.
Won't go back.

Actually, I think that the one in Hawaii is very separate from the one's on the mainland. There was one in Honolulu, Lahaina and Wailea. Jimmy Buffet sued and I think only two got to remain open under a separate ownership that has nothing to do with the Jimmy Buffet concerns. This is from memory only, but I remember the discussion a long time ago on Fodors.

We got one a few weeks ago to replace our ChiChis. We haven't gone yet but a lot of friends and family liked it.

We ate at the Wailea one. I had no idea it had anything to do with Jimmy Buffet! LOL. It was awful. Service was slow. Burgers were bad and WAY overpriced.
Won't go back.

We have one near us, I have tried it once and was not impressed. I much prefer Red Robin.

We tried it when we down at the beach and it was really good. Then we tried it again in Fredericksburg and it was bad.

I havent heard of these restaurants but we had a "true" cheeseburger in paradise while at Margarittaville in Jamaica.. Yumm!!
