The 2011 Fodor's Disneyland guide states there are Mozzerela Cheese Sticks in Frontierland but I don't see them listed on the menu guide. Is the book just outdated? My kids have been big cheese stick fans as of late and are picky eaters. Thanks!

It even says on the Disneyland Map that they have them but I didn't see any! I personally LOVE mozzerella (or any deep fired cheese) sticks. Unless they bring them back I'm afraid they are gone... (Or I was BLIND!)

They come in a "kids power pack". We only found then once at DCA's counter service right next to Soarin. The box had yogurt, a cheese stick, fish crackers, apples and box juice if I remember correctly. My kids are picky too and we had to bypass quite a few places due to food issues. Although most restaurants will make noodles with butter and have Mac n cheese on the menu. Go to allears.com to look up the menus of all food locations and perhaps make a list of the ones that have a power pack offered, or another food option they would eat.

they had them at the golden horse shoe but since they chnaged things around im guessing they think its not healthy enough, its stupid they should have got rid of the good food

Do you mean the deep fried type of breaded mozzarella sticks or just the cheese sticks in individual plastic?

DLR does have that power pack you can find at a few locations. Hungry Bear and Tomorrowland Terrace used to have them. The pack also includes a yogurt, apples and goldfish crackers for around $6.

Kid's POWER Pack - with string cheese, Nonfat yogurt, sliced apples and Whole-Grain "fish" crackers. $5.99

If your kids don't like all the items just bring in cheesesticks. I always brought small snacks in for my kids to snack on.

I was going to ask the same thing..do you mean the cheesesticks in individual pouches or do you mean deep fried cheesesticks?
Deep fried cheesesticks are available at the Golden Horseshoe and the Stage Door Cafe, you get (iirc) 4 cheesesticks with an order, alternately the individual cheesesticks are available in the power packs that you will find thru the parks, these come with goldfish crackers and a yogurt, they are a good quick pick me up if you need one. :)

The Stage Door Cafe used to have them. They were my oldest son's favorite thing to eat at Disneyland. But last time we were there they no longer had them on the menu. They only have chicken nuggets and fish and chips.
I really wish they would bring them back. We would pick up some fried cheese sticks at the Stage Door and we would go over to the Mexican food place and get something for us. It worked out good.
My boys would live off fried cheese sticks if I let them (which I dont)! :rotfl:

I remember someone (here?) posting that they were able to order the fried cheese sticks at the Stage Door Cafe, even though they were taken off the menu. They just had to wait for them to be fried fresh.

That would have been months ago, though, so they may not still be available. If you're the type who doesn't mind asking, though, you could see...

Have a great trip!

I can't think of any places to get a deep fried cheese stick, but as others have said, they have the cold ones in the kids pack meals.

If you want a fried cheese stick, you'll have to head on over to the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. They have them on their menu and aren't half bad.

Thanks guys! Yes, I ment the deep-fried cheese sticks. My oldest should like the power pack lunch too.

Seriously? I asked in November and was told they were no longer on the menu.
