Is the cheddar cheese soup available anywhere else in the Canada Pavillion, or is it just Le Cellier? I thought I had read on these boards somewhere that they have it at the food cart, but I can't seem to find where I read it... My DH says that's the only thing he wants to make sure he eats at WDW, so I'm not sure whether to make ADR's or not. If we don't have to eat a big Le Cellier meal, we'd prefer that.

TIA!

A couple of years ago the cheese soup was offered at a food station during the Food and Wine Festival. It was a smaller portion than what you get at Le Cellier. I don't know of any other location that sells the soup (beside Le Cellier).

Cheese soup is available every year during Food & Wine - thank goodness.

I read on a previous post that you can get the cheese soup and breadsticks to go. Just place your order with the hostess.

The Cheese Soup will also be available for Food and Wine this year. You can come into the restaurant before 6pm and order it to go. Other than the restaurant, it isn't available anywhere else in the pavilion. Our cart only sells Canadian beer and popcorn.

I do have the recipe if anyone is interested.

Oh, please please send me the recipe. I thought that it was awesome! You wouldn't happen to have the recipe for the breadsticks also would you?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks much! :goodvibes

What other special foods are available during Food & Wine Festival? If you have to order these items "to go" inside the restauants, how do you know what is available? I am so excited to taste the cheese soup! Was just wondering if there is anything else I shouldn't miss! Thanks! ::MinnieMo

During the Food and Wine festival they put up about 25 booths around the lagoons. Some are for countries that are at EPCOT Center, but most are not. For Canada, I can't remember if they put up an additional booth or use the existing Kiosk, but in any case each booth will have a sign that tells you what they are offering and the prices. So if you go during the Food and Wine festival you should not have any problems in getting the soup based on what mcreamer9 said.

At the other times of the year, I have only read about Canada offering their soup to go, but haven't tried or read about other pavillion's and their policies in regards to-go.

EvilQueen, thanks for that info. Before 6p.m.--I'll remember that.

If you don't want a large heavy meal, you could book an ADR for lunch. Hubby and I always go for lunch. We each get soup and bread sticks and then split the wonderful burger. Otherwise it is way too much food. I've also dined next to people who only order the soup appetizer.

Idea--it would be nice to have an option of a large soup portion as an entree item--I would gladly pay more to get more soup!
