Cheers, Fears, and Tears - a completed trip report

We went on to ride Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, It’s a Small World, and of course, POTC. We watched Mickey’s Philharmagic and the girls rode Snow White while Critter and I took a break. We had and ADR for Cap’n Jack’s so we left, sadly, to go to DTD. We all kind of stalled leaving the park. Goodbye Mickey. We love you.

Cap’n Jack’s was probably the best meal I had the whole time. I had the lobster tails and they were really good. I also had a Fuzzy Captain - a frozen pina colada type drink. Yummy. We were going to watch POTC 3 at the theater, but I was wiped out. By now I had pulled a muscle in my chest and was just worn slap out. We would have had to watch the 10pm show which would have let us out at 1am. I don’t think any of us would’ve made it. We all pouted our way back to the room and packed up. Critter and JJ went to the pool until a school group ran them off. They were jumping in over JJ’s head and being overly rowdy.

We left the next day. Overall, we had a great time. We can’t wait to go back again. We just love Disney World…

Wow! That went by so fast! And it wasn't even my trip!:rotfl:

I see that you are planning to stay at a deluxe next year (the Dolphin). You will love it! DH and I spent a weekend at the Swan and it was so great to be in walking distance to the Boardwalk and a short boat ride to Epcot and MGM.

We'll be at the Villas at WL in a few months; I cannot wait! Thanks for sharing all the great pics...

Thank you for saying that!! We are a bit nervous about staying at the Dolphin. We've always stayed at a "Disney Resort". Considering the rate we got and the experience at ASMu, I am very excited. I told the girls it was comparable to the Royal Pacific at Universal. They are excited too!

I loved your TR!:thumbsup2 It sounds like you guys had alot of fun! I myself am staying at the Dolphin next year, and CaN't WaIt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:goodvibes

Thanks for a great TR! It went too fast! I really enjoyed reading it and hope to hear all about next years trip :goodvibes

Thank you!! The best way to get over leaving WDW is to start planning another trip :rotfl:.

Thanks for sharing your terrific trip report!

I still can't get over your AK experience with that poor girl!

We had the same experience with Mission Space. I think it is the family favorite. My middle daughter rode it countless times, yet wouldn't ride Primeval Whirl!

And how luck to be pick for the pirate tutorial!

Thank you for reading it!! I still think about Johanna. I feel in my heart that she bounced back. Mission Space? I think it's the buttons. The kids loved to push the buttons and flip the switches (as did I :rolleyes1). The pirate tutorial is a CAN'T MISS. It was really funny and just a treat all around. Cookie has framed her certificate and hung it on the wall :headache:. Now I have to figure out how to 'pillage' without her noticing .

Thank you for the great report, SavvyMom! I really enjoyed reading it. I just finished the rest today.
Isn't it great planning another trip? My DH and I haven't even gone this year yet, and we're already thinking about next year!:goodvibes

Thank you IATink. Planning is part of the fun! I'm going to have to get a hold of one of those planning spreadsheets on another thread. Ahhhhhh, can I take the excitement? :rotfl:

SavvyMOM, you are NOT pillaging my framed certificate!!
Arrrrgh! Foiled again :guilty: :guilty:

Savvymom -

Thanks for such an enjoyable read! Loved the details, but really appreciated the extra comments like the "Jerry Springer moment" and the details about laundry room etiquette. I also found myself laughing (not at you!) every time you mentioned the 27 mile trek to your room. Great humor in all of your writing! Have a great time next year at the Dolphin!

Thank you!! At least if we have to walk 27 miles at the Dolphin, most (at least some) of it will be INDOORS .
