Cheerleading trip

Anyone had a child in a WDW cheerleading competition before? I've planned many normal trips in the past. This will be the first time we have cheerleader going to a competition at WDW. Any tips on trying to be a functional disney planner when you don't know what the cheer schedule will be like or weather they will stick to it or not? I'm not concerned about dining but how do I plan FP?
