Cheerleaders/Pop Warner in Dec?

I've heard these groups stay at the Value resorts in December. I'm planning on going 12/8-12 and would like to stay at Pop Century or All Star Movies. Will I encounter them at either resort around that time?

There is a thread that states that the Pop Century is not set up to accomadate the groups. All Stars are set up to accomadate them.

Stay anywhere else but AS. They invade the AS and can make a miserable experience for you. I know there are a few here that are going to say they had a fabulous stay while there but not everyone does so your taking your chances. A few groups will envade the moderates but there are fewer in numbers and not as bothersome. I say stay at PC.

Last year they were at the All Star Music and Sport. It was very frustrating for my husband and I because of all the tweens running around unsupervised. We also got woken up by cheerleaders practicing very early every morning.

I understand they need a place to stay too, I just wish it would be made public where and when they are staying so those who like to sleep in until 8:00 can have a relaxing vacation.

Okay, I'll jump to the defense of those cheerleaders/dancers/football players that were there last Dec 12-17. We were there then, at AllStarMusic. I was truly prepared to have a less than perfect time. But, I was proved wrong. We did have a room on the third floor, at the rear of the Jazz bldg. It was the quietest room we have ever had at WDW! We did eat at off-hours (very early usually) so didn't find the food court to be too bad. Yes, there were kids all over. But, for the most part the ones we saw were pretty well behaved. I found them to be the worst in the parks. So if you decide on an AllStar resort, request a room in the rear of the bldg on an upper floor.

Oh, and to any of you that were there at the same time we were last year......thank-you for having such well-behaved groups of kids. It was nice to see.
