We were at Disney right before Pop Warner this past year and there must have been some other cheerleading group there. The only way we knew was that girls in their jammies were always in the restaurant in the mornings with those little buns on their heads (which are obviously popular right now). While I thought it was strange to see 13-17 year olds in their PJ's in a public place, it didn't bother me a bit really. (they were wearing lounge pants and thermal shirts for the most part....similar to lots of what is worn all day here by lots of teens).
The Pop gripes that I read in the other thread seemed to be pretty bad at times and one person DID attempt to resolve their problems with the group and didnt make much headway, but the rest seemed to sit back and watch it happen and then vent without doing anything about it. I am not implying that somehow other visitors to WDW are responsible for chaperoned groups, but I don't have a problem saying, "Hey! We are sleeping here. Knock it off" or "Come on girls. We are not ALL here to listen to your cheering. Wait until we are off the bus." I love teenagers and want them to have a great time, but I expect my children to be respectful (they are 2 and 4) and I would expect others around us to respect us back, so we have not had any real issues ever that weren't easily resolved or walked away from.
All that blabbing and my point is go when you want to. Go to have a good time. You will.
