Happy Saturday.

I slept til 9 and I ithink that I could probably sleep for a few more hours if that guilt about wasting the day would go away. I need to go get my coffee brewing and get in the shower but for some reason I had to Dis first. My agenda today includes cleaning out my car going through some junk.

I hope eveyone enjoys their day.

I feel terrible that it's been so long. We moved to a new house and it's been a loooong and sordid production, in which I lost my computer service a number of times.

We had to put in a french drain in the old house because the basement flooded - ka-ching!

I ordered my MNSSHP tickets yesterday! Hoorrah.

And Tricia - I hear you on the school supplies. Last year I had all this help with the baby while my MIL was here. But we didn't get the school supply list until the first day of school, after MIL left. So I was schlepping a one month old around to Target. :sad2:

Afternoon everyone! I have one question. Please HELP!

If you had 48 dining credits for a 8 night/ 9day package for 1A 1C,

HOW WOULD YOU USE THEM?

I started trying to figure out my ADR's last night, and HOLY SMOKES :scared1: that is alot. At least we won't go hungry. Anyone want me to bring them back anything? :rotfl:

Had to work today, so right now I'm a little tired. I don't know if I'll be doing any big projects this evening. Chillin in front of the tube :happytv: .

I just finished cleaning my car. Ick. I don't know how those cup holders get so nasty. At least now I have a nice clean dust free car. It should stay that way until at least Monday. :sad2: I'm running out to buy ice cream ingredients. I'm planning on making peach ice cream. I remember my grandmother would make homemade peach ice cream and I think that must be a strong memory because when I asked my mom what kind she would like, she also mentioned peach.

I did get some sad news this morning. My friend lost her baby last night. It's so hard because I know she feels very guilty. She didn't originally want another and I think was finally excited about it. I just hope that she is willing to try again. :sad1: I don't even know what to do for her. I figure I'll just call her every couple of days and check in.

I'll be back later.

I wondered if you had moved. Are you having flooding problems in the new house too?

You did miss our one year anniversary of the Cheeky Chicks (and Roosters). We had quite the party. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your friends loss. :sad1:

Just be a shoulder to lean on and let her know you're there if she needs you.

Susan I'm so sorry to hear about your friend losing the baby. I had a miscarriage before Colin was born. Some people who knew I was pregnant didn't say anything afterwards. I know it's an awkward situation but it really hurt my feelings that they didn't even say I'm sorry. Please give her a few days then call her. She may just want someone to talk to.

FAB~great news on the new house. How about some new pictures of the girls.

Wendy they will be rolling you out of WDW after eating all that food. That's why we aren't doing the dining plan again this year. I feel like if I paid for it I should it eat. It is fun picking out all the nice rest. to eat in.

Hey Chicks and Rooster!!
Another stray stopping by to say hello! I don't get over here as much as I should!

Fab, good to see you, Happy Birthday to the princess Madeleine!
Susan, soooo sorry to hear about your friends miscarriage, that's a bummer. Maybe drop by with a nice bouquet of flowers for her??? I love flowers!

I've been doing laundry all day, I had rugs and the dog and cats blankets to do....Tucker went to the groomers yesterday and proceeded to dig and roll in the dirt this afternoon.
And I finally cleaned out both of my backpacks!!!!! Went through my planner and threw out all the junk and old receipts and condensed two notebooks into my planner! A lot lighter now!

We're going shopping in a little while now that the crowds have died down. This is "tax free" weekend here in Massachusetts. The governor waives the tax for these two days... some people go crazy buying big ticket items (Plasma TV's, etc). Two years ago, I stood in line for three hours to buy tires.... yeah, I saved $15. Big Whoop, it's better to wait until they go on sale. We only have 5% tax on things other than food & clothing.

Wendy - well, I haven't been for awhile, and of course I have to consider the kidlets,
But I would do Boma and Cal. Grill and Marrekesh and Crystal Palace for sure!

Susan - that's terrible. :sad1: I think that all of us, in every stage of creating and having and raising children, carry around a ton of guilt for the things we've done (or thought) that were less than perfect. Your poor friend, I hope good friends like you help to ease her sorrow.

I wish that I had made the party - as you can imagine, I've been amazingly overwhelmed between the baby and the move. No, no flooding issues with the new house, but I live in fear that the owner of the old house doesn't use the drainage system properly and it will flood anyhow (and I'll have to fight a lawsuit).

Jeanny - thank you for noticing Madeleines' bday! She's one now, and soooo bossy. Just like her sister. Hope the shopping goes well - NY always did that, too, and it seemed like a major production to go shopping that weekend.

Okay - I bought the Harry Potter book from Amazon, which ended up going to my old house and the new owner did not see fit to forward it to me - so I bought it again today.

You guys may not hear from me for another month, now. ;)

Hello All! Just got home from work and checking out the net. Anything exciting goin on?

It's starting to rise above the 95 degree mark on the thermometer again. HOT HOT HOT.

Hi everyone.

I just got back from seeing No Reservations. It was a very sweet romance. I enjoyed it. I did the Target thing this morning. My shampoo was on sale and I drooled over the school supplies. Even though I am not teaching anymore I still get a thrill out of those nice new supplies. I did buy a 24 pack of Sharpies because I love those things. :thumbsup2 I've got to spend some time getting pictures from my trip uploaded so I can share them with a few people.

Thanks for the kind words about my friend. I've talked to her today and I will just make a point to check on her every couple of days. She lives 3 hours away so I can't be with her.

Enjoy your Sunday!

I am also a Sharpie fan.

I put a desk chair together today - I am woman, hear me roar!

Good Morning.

Both Saturday and Sunday we hit 105 degrees. You can stand on your front porch and the sweat just drips off of you. :sad2:

Teenager is already gone to school, Middle DD is getting ready and DS is still sleeping. I'm trying to get myself back into the school routine.

Good morning!

Yesterday was our son Adam's 13th birthday. One of his gifts was Guitar Hero II for the PS2. At 6:30 this morning, we were 'treated' to a rendition of Danzig's "Mother". Not the song you might want to hear that early in the morning. Dang, I'm getting old.

Yes, I will play that game. I've been an air guitarist since the early 80s. Not really braggin' on how good I was, but I could keep up with Eddie Van Halen on a good day...

I see we had a couple of people in late last week / this weekend... Don't be strangers Fab & Grim!

- Wendy, I don't know a thing about Kansas State. Good or bad. And UT Arch still has the reciprocity agreement with WV (as far as I know). My little brother is a recent WVU grad (Go 'Eers!) - he graduated in 2006 with a Landscape Architecture degree. He and his wife (newlyweds) live near Pittsburgh now, after a year or so in Annapolis MD.

Morning all. Started mowing the yard and it got HOT, so I thought I'd take a break.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Adam :cake: :bday: party: :rockband: !!!!!!!
GD now has to go through the TEENAGE years :cool2:

Today is just going to be a lazy day.

My kids don't start back to school until August 27th. I don't know whose more excited. Me or them. I think maybe me. :woohoo: Just kidding!

I guess I need to go finish my yard.

Later!!!

Hello everyone, chicks and roosters alike!

It's Monday and I'm still not "blocked" from coming here! Woo hoo!

I'll try to keep up with all the gossip now that I can come here, assuming it lasts.

And everyone can stop gossiping about me. Nothing to see here anyway.

Around here it actually reached 100 degrees on Thursday. It's been years since it's been 100 here. Fortunately, it was slightly less humid on that day than all the 97 degree days that preceded it. It's been an arctic low 90's since then.

Good morning. Rats. It's Monday. I don't know where the weekend goes but it seems to fly by. I am ready for the next one! :thumbsup2

Glad you are still able to get in Grim.

GD - tell Adam the Cheeky Chicks said "Happy Birthday". I'm sure that will scare him. :rolleyes1
