Checkout 11am, DL until close, parking???

We're staying at BWPPI, and on the day of checkout (11am) we're staying in DL until it closes. Do we have to move our car to the paid DL lot or can we leave it at the hotel lot? Anyone know?

You can leave it there at the BWPPI. There won't be any problem.

See now my freind stayed there in August last year and they made her move it. They told her that her parking pass was good till 11am checkout day!! That's one reason I haven't stayed there. Can others confirm this?

I can't imagine they would have enough spaces for new people checking in if people were allowed to leave the cars there all day on checkout day because lots of people do this!! Thanks

Oh and I stay at Desert Inn and HOJO all the time, neither of them care. But for some reason BWPPI sticks out because of what she went through!

When we stayed at the BWPPI in January, our parking permit said that it was only good until 3pm on the day of checkout... We decided to go ahead and drive to DL in the morning instead of leaving it there and coming back before 3:00 to get it.

Thanks! I thought there was some kinda limit because she had never stayed there and I remember her being annoyed because then she also had to pay for parking that last day!! Glad to know I wasn't imagining it!!

I guess you could take a chance, but then if your car gets towed, that would really stink!!

Oh yes!!! They warned us that if we were late, our SUV would be towed. They are VERY strict on their parking policy... It took us longer to get to the main gate, but it was worth it to not have to keep checking our watches.

Hey no problem!! Desert Inn and Suites is a favorite of mine on that row and this is one of the reasons we like it!!

Boy oh boy, wish I had asked this question before making our reservation at the BWPPI!! Oh well... guess we'll have to move our car. Is there any street parking around? If there is I'm sure it's gobbled up quick.

No street parking really!! You pretty much will have to park in Disney parking unless you want to chance it since it's more than a couple hours!

I'm so glad you asked this question because we'll be in the same situation. We had decided to stay at BWPPI, but now I'm having second thoughts.

ONe time we stayed at the Del Sol Inn and we were told we had to move our car on the day of check out. They instructed us to move it to the Anaheim Plaza Hotel just a few hotels down and across Disney Way (I think that is the street name? drawing a blank) Anyway, that hotel does not have parking permits required so we parked right next to the street and walked. That way we didnt have to pay to park in the Mickey and Friends lot.
