I'm a WDW vet, but I've never booked a package. I'm not getting insurance (at least for now), so I want to make sure I understand the cancellation terms exactly.

If I cancel 44 to 6 days prior to arrival I will receive a refund for everything I've paid, less $100, and if I cancel 5 days or less prior to arrival, I will receive a refund for everything that I've paid, less $200. Is this correct?

Thank you!

I thought you had to cancel at least 45 days prior to recieve a full refund.

When I booked my vacation through AAA, I held off on the insurance, but was told that I could still purchase it up to the 45 day mark.

I was also told that I could cancel anytime before 45 days out to get a full refund. From 44-6 days out, a refund less $100. From 5 days out, a refund less $200.

I was also told that after the 45 day mark, any changes to the reservation, such as change in resorts or changing the length of stay or changes to the passes or meal plan, was a $25 for each item changed.

You do, but I was asking about cancellations of 44 days or less. Terk-1 confirmed my understanding of the policy....thank you, Terk-1. :sunny:

Glad I could help. I too am on the fence regarding the insurance and probably won't decide until close to the 45 day mark.
