checking out question

hello....quick question...can you still use the resort pool/amenities after you check out? we are doing a resort switch and thought we might like to just hang out at the pool of the resort we are checking out of while we wait till check in time at the next resort. TIA!!!!

yes. you can use the pool and so forth after you have checked out.

(you might want to hang onto your room keys just in case someone asks.)

You can check into you new resort at 7:00 AM and use the pool there if you wish. When they say, "check in time is after 4:00" what they mean is that your room may not be ready until after 4:00.

thanks...i did know you could use the pool at the resort you are checking into...just wasn't sure if it was the same when checking out. i just had to rearrange our schedule so we could be at MK on a day they have spectro magic (very limited while we are there) so that took the place of the day the kids were gonna get to play at the resort pool so now i need to move that to the checkout/switch day. so glad it will all work out...scheduling this time around has been so much more difficult!!!!

Just curious...what did u do with your wet suits? carry on? i am actually considering the last two days of our trip which to spend at SAB and which at a park. Our only concern was having to bring wet suits in our carry ons..although i think i read that BCV has free laundry facilities so we could possibly dry them ahead of time.

We had waterproof bags that we put them in. Once we got our luggage from Bell services (flying on southwest), I put that bag into the waterproof pocket in the suit case. It wasn't bad. If we had already checked the luggage, I would have just kept the bag in my carry on.

The general rule of thumb that we have been told is that you can use the facilities until midnight on the day of checkout very similar to the use of DP credits.

We spent the last day of our July trip at AKV pool. Prior to changing we just sat in the sun for 15 mins (enjoying ice cream) and our suits were pretty dry. I just took a bag to pack them in just in case. The sun is so hot, you dry really quick ~~~ Have a great trip
