Checking out, but not leaving....car question

We will be driving down in November. We are checking out on 11/28. The day after Thanksgiving. Since it is only a 22 hour drive, we are not going to rush home, so even though Friday is check out day, we still want to hang around for most of the day. Can we leave our car parked at the resort? What about OKW? Don't they have indiviual parking spaces in front of each unit, when we stay there where would we put our car? Does anyone know?

There are no assigned spaces, there is plenty of parking right in front of your unit for you and the next guest.

You are actually allowed to use the facilities and considered a guest until the end of your check out day.

WE usually check out as early as possible on check out day, and then take the bus to the parks until we have to come back and get to the airport. Our flight out is usually around 6 pm, so we just leave the car at OKW and rely on the bus to take us back there before heading to the airport. Our parking certificate is good until the end of the day anyway. Because we never know how many parks we will visit that last day, we find it easier to meet back at our car at OKW than to park in one of the lots from the parks. We just have everyone in the party meet at the car at a specific time...works great!

We always hang out at the resort on check out day. They will even hold your luggage until you're ready to depart! Just let the bellman know and they will "tag" your luggage and off you go!

They will also keep anything that needs to be refrigerated in cold storage. I know when we drive we always have a cooler for the road. When you are ready to hit the road, stop by a bus stop and get ice for the cooler.
