checking on ressie/dinner seating, etc. when not booked thru DCL

I hope someone can please help me anwer this.

I booked our 1st cruise in Jan. through cruise.com but I keep reading posts about people checking on items such as if they have been changed yet from wait-listed for early dinner to actually being on early seating, potential upgrades, price changes from when they booked, etc. Anyway--can I check on our booking w/DCL or do I have to have my TA @ cruise.com do it each time for me? I'm a wee bit of a planner (which is partially why I read these boards daily) and would really love being able to look it up without bugging the TA each time.

When you have booked through a TA you cannot access your reservation online through DCL. You need to go through your TA to get your questions answered.

Please don't forget that your TA wants your business so s/he would be more than willing take your calls and answer any/all questions!

This is their business and the TA's don't do it for free!!!!!
There is nothing wrong with being a planner - some of my favorite people (me, myself and I) are that way!
