Hi everyone,

We are getting married at the Swan-morning ceremony, afternoon reception.

We are checking into the WL (honeymoon suite-CL level) after our reception is finished.

I was wondering-will there be any difficulty with check in and getting our room requests by checking in later in the day? I'm guessing we would check in around 6:30 or 7?

There are 4 honeymoon suites and we requested a specific one.

Thanks!:goodvibes

Supposedly rooms are assigned something like 3 days or a week before you get there, so check-in time shouldn't matter. However, the availability of alternatives (if you don't like what was assigned) goes down as it gets later in the day. This is why we didn't check into a new resort on our wedding day.

Could you check in super-early, before the wedding? You wouldn't even need to bring your stuff over at that point—just do the paperwork, so to speak.

Thanks Carrie :) Checking in early would not be a possibility though (or I guess wouldn't be worth the stress). Our ceremony is at 11:15 at the Swan (where we are staying the night before to make it easier) and we have a photo shoot before that. Too far away to travel to check in in the morning I think....

Is showing up in person the only way to check in? I know we can do online check in but I think that won't increase the likelihood of getting requests sorted out, right?

I wonder if concierge could help in any way....

That's a good idea! If you're staying on the Concierge level, definitely take advantage of the IPO services. I'm sure if you explain the whole wedding/honeymoon thing they'll be excited to help out. Because, like you said, online check-in doesn't really guarantee anything—even that you won't have to wait in line when you get there!

I'll give it a try-thanks Carrie!
