Checking in for southwest using AP on iphone

I changed our flights and now I have 5 confirmation numbers. So I'll need to check everyone in separately at 24 hrs.

I'm going to have our kids use their iphones to check themselves in and I'll use the computer to do myself and husband.

I noticed that on the ap it says "retrieve reservation" after you put in the conf # and name and when you look at the check in screen on my laptop it says "check-in" after the conf # and name.

So my question is to those who have used the ap or both, does the ap have another step or do you get checked in when you click on the "retrieve reservation" button?

I just want to make this as simple as possible. Already having nightmares about the process.

I have, but I am not sure I understand the question.

It is pretty self explanatory when you do it and if you don't get a boarding pass "#" then you aren't checked in yet!

Just wanting to know why the ap for the iphone has a "retrieve reservation" button and on the website it says "check in".

Is there a difference? Do you need to do something else after clicking on the "retrieve reservation" button? Or does it do the same thing but just worded differently?

My iPhone app has a flight check in option. In orange, about midway down my screen. When I click it, you get a screen to put in your confirmation number, first and last name.

Then you hit retrieve reservation. There will be a check in button. Click that and get your boarding pass number

I have done this and it worked out great and was very easy to do!I remember I was standing on the dock at the Poly so I would have a good signal lol!
