Hi! We are staying at 2 resorts, SSR and Pop. Our reservation for SSR starts on a Friday but we don't arrive. We have done the pre check in so we would go straight to the room. Do we need to tell them we are arriving a day late? We have done the same at Pop, but we still owe a balance on this room. We will be at the parks when it is check in time and as we have a room only, it says balance due day of check in. Will the balance automatically be charged to the card on file in my MDE or do I need to go to the front desk? I had wanted to skip the desk altogether., plus we will be late checking in that day as well. There is no option to pay online and I just dread the thought of a 2 hour phone call.
Thanks!

Yes, you should call and have your late arrival noted on your reservation at SSR. I've read that they won't cancel your reservation until two nights have gone by without your arrival (they can tell you arrived by your MB opening your room door), but it's better to be sure.

I can't find the tread for the final payment info. If I want to pay the balance instead of automatic payment going on the card on file, is there a number to call? Is it one I'll be on hold for hours? Thanks!

The best way to avoid a long hold time is to call around 7 am Eastern time. This is the phone number that I use to call to make a payment and it seems to get you through the phone tree a little faster than the main line:

407-939-1936 resort reservation - just say "make a payment"

Whew, thanks! I was on hold 2 hours 11 minutes last night just to confirm a dining reservation.
