Checking In & DDP

I have an upcoming stay at OKW with my in-laws and we are on the DDP. I know that the DDP amounts are collected (charged) at check in but can they split the charges up between families? What happens if everyone does not arrive at the same time.

Just looking for suggestions and advice.

They can be split up, but the entire amount has to be paid before any of the cards are issued. So, either everyone checks in at once, or the "late arrivals" will have to pay the "early arrivals" back.

As Chuck said they will spilt the charges but you can only have one credit card on file for the entire group for charging on the room keys. I know cash resorts would allow multiple credit cards in the past I do not if DVC every allowed but but I know they do not now.

Two people in our group (2 bedroom at SSR) will be 'moving over' from another resort during the day Sunday 12/2, and the other two don't arrive till after 6PM on Sunday. So, the two people checking in during the day will have to pay for all 4 DDPs in order to get their keys and be allowed to use DDP credits that afternoon? Not a problem, just need to know in advance how to work out the $$ exchanges/arrangements.

Yes, the people checking in first will have to pay the DDP for all in the room when they check in earlier. Also, please be sure all names have been added to the reservation so that they may check in upon their various arrival times without problems.
