Checking in a Day early?

Hi all,
We have our pkg booked for going in on the 3rd for 12nts at CBR. Were now going to go down a day early since we got the time off..Am I better off booking a hotel for the 1 nt outside of Disney or if I book the 1 nt at CBR, what are the chances that I wouldn't have to move to a new room the next day?
Any help would be appreciated.

If you even think you might want to do this, you need to go ahead and call and modify the reservation. As busy as the resorts are nowadays, you cannot count on there being a room once you get there. If you add it now, it should be as part of your "package" hotel stay and you would not need to change rooms.

I'm on the DP so I thought that would mean I have to add the dp for that day 2 and I just figured that first day we could just eat at Mcdonalds or something.

If you are on any special pricing plans or as you said the DP, then you'd probably be better and safer just seeing if you can make a room only ressie for the night before. If you add a night and you are on the DP you will have to pay for another day for your party, unless as stated that you just get a room only ressie. I would think if you called the hotel direct and talked it over with them, they could tell you the best thing to do.

Where to Stay?

I would try to grab a room at the Caribbean Beach for the extra night. Even if they can't give you the same room as the one for the twelve nights I would think it would be more convenient to be at the same resort but just switch rooms. Just don't settle in too comfortably for the first night.
