Checking in 11/11 around noon at AoA. Should I do on-line check-in?

I've not stayed on property before. And last night I received the on-line check-in e-mail.

On the Dis, I've read people say that sometimes the line for on-line check-in is longer than traditional.

For a Sunday check-in around noon, what would you do?

Also, I requested a top floor room when I reserved. (I know it's a request and not a guarantee.) If I want to ask about this when given the room, can I if I check in on-line? Or do they just hand you a folder and send you on your way? I don't want to hold up the people waiting behind me.

No reason not to do OLCI. When you do get to the resort, just ask if your requests were honored. If they weren't you can still ask them to change the room.

We used on line check in for our trip in March. We stayed at All Star Movies though. It was fantastic, we arrived at the resort at 11:15 am and both our rooms were ready and all our paperwork, keys, etc. we had no line at all, and to think, i wouldn't have done the online check in if I hadnt heard about it here on the disboards. good Luck!
