checking for room only discounts in February

Hi, I did a search and found a few questions similar to mine, but hope some one remembers or has info...

I am looking for a room only discount the Saturday night of President's day weekend.... is that a long shot?!!? We are leaving for a cruise on Sunday, but for flights to work best, we are going to come in the night or possibly two nights before... We had AP's last year, and were able to get a discount, but it was the days leading up to President's day we left that Saturday... JUST wondered... if I should book a room, or rent points for the best $...
Any info helpful! Are historic discounts and blackout time listed anywhere on the DIS?? I know I have seen these somewhere...
