Checking DDP policies for 2008

We are leaving for Disney in two weeks and I wanted to check on the policy changes. Please let me know if I am correct on these:

1. Tip is not included unless it is a 2 credit meal (like CRT)
2. Appetizers are not included

Are appetizers included for signature dining?

Are there any other major changes that I need to be aware of before arriving? Thanks!

Tip is only included at CRT, HDDR, & SoA. You would need to pay for tip oop at any signature restaurant like Narcoosee.

2. Appetizers are not included
Correct no appetizers.I think appetizers are included at Mama Melrose w/the fanatsmic dining package though.

No appetizers, unless you pay oop for it.

Adult & kids credits aren't pooled anymore. And snacks credits are only for use on single serving snacks. So boxes of donuts at the food court aren't part of the plan anymore

Not entirely true. If you are talking about the basic dining plan (1 CS, 1 TS, 1 snack) tips are included only at CRT and the dinner shows, not at any other 2 credit restaurant. Appetizers are not included in signature dining or most other restaurants. The only ways we've seen to get appetizers on the basic plan are: Fantasmic Dining Package, Le Cellier pilot menu, or all you can eat family style, fixed price/menu meals that include an appetizer. A restaurant like CRT, which is a fixed price/menu meal, would include an appetizer; one like Narcoosee's, which has an a la carte menu, would not include an appetizer.

If you're on the deluxe dining plan, appetizers for age 10 and up are included at all TS restaurants.
