checking a ressie on DCL online?

HI,
Can one only check a reservation on the DCL site if one booked through DCL? We booked through Costco. Would we be able to see our room numbers or anything online?

From what I have gathered while on the boards, if you book through a TA then you can't see it on disney's site. We booked through Dreams Unlimited and they told us our room number right after our deposit was processed.

The only way to view your DCL ressie online at their website is to have booked via online or by phone with DCL directly. TA booked ressies will not show up on the DCL website.

Ive booked through DU and been able to see mine online. On the DU confirmation there is a Disney confirmation#. I go to DCL's site and put that number in and it comes up. Is it not supposed to?

Hey,
I see on my DU reservation a Disney confirmation #. there's two sets of numbers. There's a set of eight numbers then GRP# and eight more numbers. I never tried it. I took the word of people on the disboards. Do you put in both sets of number at the confirmation screen on disney's website?

My DU reservation isn't coming up either. I think it isn't suppose to come up if you booked through a TA. I'm not sure why that is, but that is what I remember reading on this board in the past.

It is works with booking through DU then great...I was told by DCL that only ressie booked with them could be viewed at their website....DCL could be wrong..

JJsmama: I'm curious how you booked thru Costco and if the price was decent? I tried to call them but never got thru as it was always busy and everything I've seen advertised was for dates in the next 2-3 months. Can you book thru them for something say a year away?

I have 1 booked with DU and one with DCL. When I put in the DU one, it worked for me once. The next time it didnt. I then went back, kept my phone number in and put in my confirmation # for the one booked with DCL. That worked. Then I just hit back, put in the # for the one with DU(kept my phone # there again) and it worked again that way. Very strange!

**edited to add...I just tried again and it didnt work. I then went to the second reservation(DCL) and that worked. I went back and tried the DU one again and it worked that time.
